That's okay.
I agree with you, 'cheap great meds' from Asia or Mexico could be a coming from a Nigerian prince. Scams abound.
Sorry, maybe my post was unclear. I did not say all drugs made in other countries are not up to top standard. However, there is a higher perentage of counterfeit drugs and adulterated drugs made in some countries, especially some developing countries. I would not be concerned about buying medications in a pharmacy in most western industrialized countries.

My biggest concern, and this is what I was trying to say, would be on-line pharmacies. One has no idea who is operating the on-line business, where the drugs come from, or what is in them.

Sorry my original posts were not clear.
I've had meds while in Thailand, Burma and Malaysia with no problem
Some of the meds were made in China, India and Germany. It is not accurate to assume meds made in other countries are not up to top standard.e!
However, the scams over the internet are what I would worry about.
I've picked up some nasty spam and internet worms while overseas, or rather my laptop has.
I've ordered meds from Canada, no problem whatsoever.
Clarification: When I say Canada may be okay, I am talking about the regular pharmacies there (I think they are okay), but I would be concerned about on-line pharmacies because you have no idea who is really behind them or operating them.
I would be concerned about the quality of the meds (and what is actually in them). Look at the problems just with some of the food coming from overseas.
I know they have tested some meds coming in and have found some to be of inferior quality, especially that they do not contain the drug or amount of drug they say they do.
Canada may be okay, but one never knows.
I've bought stuff online from Canada, no problem, used to get my lactulose from them.
And I've bought stuff while in Thailand but not online from Asia.
Personally, I'd be leery~ not that the quality of meds there is a problem but the logistics of paying online, getting it to your home and what do you do if???
I've never bought any online but I know if your going to make sure it's a Canadian Pharmacy. I've got friends that have to purchase without a script and have no problems with the websites from Canada.Personally I wouldn't trust any of them.
just to clarify this is not for HCV treatment drugs.
