I think mine is not falling out as much this week, as last week. But for some reason, it is very annoying to have the hair falling out, kind of creepy and all.
I watched the women who werein Tx, ahead of me, at my home support group, so I pretty much had an idea that I would end up with this finely textured, fuzzy hair.
Some of the men in my group, with short hair, seem to get this really straight hair, that spikes up, in an overly long, and sparse crew cut.
I do have a strong urge to cut mine very short, but I use it for protection from the sun, along with a hat
This is one thing I am not worried about
For some reason I do not really care. If it stays , it stays, if it falls, oh well, I will shave it and I will go for a gothic makeup and some fake tatoos on my head. Here you have it!!!
For people on hep C treatment some products can aggravate skin irritation and rashes.
I lost a good 3/4 of my hair. I used a gentle shampoo and conditioner, and combed my hair once a day over the trash to stop having those little annoying hairs falling out everywhere all the time.
It began falling out before the 3 rd month into tx, and was still shedding post tx for a few weeks.
Now, 7 months post tx, My hair is it's regular thick mane again, though somewhat shorter.
Mike was right Nioxin is sold on Amazon and they have a huge collection at less than salons prices. There are products on there I have never seen
Again, good luck. I am also taking Biotin for my hair loss and a daily vitamin minus the iron
Sorry didnt respond earlier I have to learn to follow these posts.
That was me who told you about the Nioxin it seems to be helping me havent loss any hair yet but I am on week 11 maybe it doesnt fall out right away I am praying it doesnt but if it does its only hair it will be back. I got the cleanser and the shampoo at a Marshalls I lucked out but the Salon should sell it for 30.00 for the two of them together some where around there keep me posted.
I used it and continue to do so almost 3 months post treatment and I had very thick hair about 3 months into treatment the shedding began, it still shedds when I blow dry but not nearly as much, it is however very thin and the nioxin shampoo and conditioner make it look and feel fuller and not so fly away with all those baby hairs coming in. Good luck and it stinks to have your hair fall out but I guess its a small price to pay.
Amazon has it and it is eligible for FREE SHIPPING.

Thank you very much for response. I've lost already the same of my hair. I'm afraid even to wash my hair. I will try to find the shampoo.
Thanks again.
Hi they sell it in most hair salons.
I have also seen it in CVS as well as Walmart and Giant.
It may help, some people say it does, others say it doesn't. I also lost quite a bit of my hair 70% or so. A little over 3 months post tx it looks odd but it is coming back in so I am happy about that
Good luck.
