Good morning. I am sorry you are still feeling bad. In fact I don't think it's normal for you to still feel pain a week after a liver biopsy. Of course with your reactions to the phenergan that could be what's going on, but I would call the doctor and tell him or her about your pain. "Everyday I feel worse" sounds like you need some attention! Good luck!
Sorry to hear this. If you still feel pain 7 days post procedure, let your doctor know; most of us don’t have much, if any pain from the operation. Sometimes, there is a brief sensation of referred pain in the right shoulder; this should diminish rapidly. Complications are rare, but possible.
Good luck; let us know when you have the results,
Bill
ty for ur advice...i was thinking that it should not be hurting but sometimes i think i am juat a wuss,,lol,,,my friend that was sick she is not going to get to have surgeries cause of her heart and they r going to have to do explortory surgery on her heart and i donot want to worry her or her to know but she is going to fl tues so i will tell the dr then,,i am glad she is not going to the dr with me on tues to new primary plus on fri i will be alone when the dr tell me the results of my liver biposy,,,i already know i have a year on interdron and other drug from my other test and being geneotype 1a i started not to do it but i am...my freinds say i have that yellow look,,,will i have that always or just when i am so bad happyoldergal
If you’re face or eyes are showing yellow, and jaundice is a factor, it should show readily in your liver panel. A total bilirubin of >5.0 mg/dL is telling of this; do you have copies of recent hepatic panel tests?
Be sure to let us know how the results of the biopsy turn out next week— and good luck,
Bill
