Reba pills

First day of tx, started last night with interferon, Reba and start Vic in 4 weeks. I for the life of me can not remember what I was told at the visit with pharmacist yesterday about taking the RIBA. Does it have to be every 12 hours, for instance , I am doing it 9:30 am and 9:30 pm but if I wanted to go to bed earlier, can I take it earlier? I called my clinic today but no one called me back. This made me mad. She must have said a hundred times yesterday, any questions, give us a call.   So, that is where you all come in.  Thanks.  Getting to the point of starting tx was the hard part. I am so glad to be on this side of that decision.

Good for you.  Hope your day is an easy one.  I had concerns about taking incivek every 8 hours but RIBA every 12.  Afraid I would be more likely to make a mistake.  I asked the pharmacist if I could do the RIBA twice a day but at the 8 hour mark with my incivek  She said yes but I might have more side effects.  I take it at the 12 hour mark.  I am sure you are ok taking it a little early.  It's the Protease that is critical as can-do-man mentioned.

Regimen can be simplified by taking ribavirin with Am and PM
doses of the protease inhibitor.

Every 8 hr dosing of Protease Inhibitor is more critical than 12-hr interval between ribavirin doses.
