Thanks for the information and link, ladies. A lot of good info on the Incivek posts, too.
I'll probably end up discussing this with the PA assigned to me to see what they can prescribe to help. I'll also get some Tucks to give them a try.
Never had a hemorrhoid in my life and hope that I don't start now! Albeit, a small price to pay for a chance at SVR...
Thanks again!
Marc
Hi I looked for Incivek burn and found this
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Hepatitis-C/incivek/show/1657839I was also given something called Proctofoam HC which is Hydrocortisone acetate 1% and pramoxine hydrochloride 1%
I hope something helps you, Dee
You might want to increase your water and also take it after you have had a meal, just trying to think of what we did back then :)
Thank you for sharing, if you had been here back when we were doing Incivek you would have seen any and all remedies.
I am sorry you are having this experience.
Ekkie had a good idea. I was told not to use tucks because they irritate the tissue but it sure did help :)
That and the hemorrhoid cream
Also I was advised not to use toilet paper but baby wipes.
Good luck
Dee
I had burning but I was on Sovaldi. It was a SFX. I took generic allergy pill and bought some Tucks pads and drank more water also took the Tucks and went internally about 1/2 ". It took a few days but eventually went away...just a thought. Good luck I know it's so uncomfortable to have the burning.
Best
Deb
