We are not doctors and we cannot diagnose your medical problem. You will have to wait until you receive your lab results which will hopefully give you more information and/or a diagnosis. Plus, your doctor should be explaining all of this to you in detail. I know 10 days is a long time, but not much can be done about that if that is the time it takes (which actually, seems like a long time to get test results back). Until you know what is causing your liver tests to be elevated, there really is not much you can do, except NOT drink alcohol if you currently drink alcohol.

Your ALT and AST are elevated and usually that has something to with the liver, but many things can raise those numbers including drinking alcohol (especially if you drink often), medications, other medical problems.

You raise another point, though. Your yearly company medical exam and test results should be confidential. I do not think the company can ask you for lab results or a diagnosis. They may be able to ask for a medical clearance that says you have no medical issues that would prevent you from completing your job duties, but it is my understanding that they cannot ask for specific diagnoses or test results. Most people do not tell their companies all of their medical problems.

I hope things turn out well for you and that this is nothing serious.

Nobody here can diagnose your problem.  You'll just have to wait to get your test results.
