Wow, are we going to do the amateur shrink thing here? She definitely DOES NOT sound like she is having a schizophrenic episode. Visual hallucinations do not work that way. Gosh, you will worry someone needlessly.
I finished treatment July 9. I have not noticed more of that but I have always had that. Schucks, I feel like I am maybe seeing one of my or my friend's animals who passed away and now they have come to me to let me know that we do not really die. I know I sound nuts but I'm serious. so, anyway, don't make too much out of something that is normal for all folks. We often see floaters and stuff in our peripheral vision. We who have hep C have enough to worry about without finding new stuff. Know what I mean? and I am serious what I wrote above.
No anti depressants. I do not do well with those. I took Welbutrin 12 years ago. all it did was make me quit smoking which was great, but it didnt help my depression. I do take lorazapam for anxiety, one .05 a day.
I haven't "seen" anything lately. Hopefully that has passed. I think it had something to do with delayed memory.
What are ads? Addictions? I stopped drinking last year after being diagnosed.
Update on seeing things:
After I made that post it stopped. So, that means it was my mind. Which, I'm not surprised by any sx at this point. Lol! I've had so many weird sx, but they are getting better. I'm 2 months post tx, getting better every day. I was watching tv everytime it happened and I did know it wasn't real. That's what scared me, knowing it was my mind playing tricks on me.
i had that problem during tx....maybe the first month or so...those drugs are strong....it takes some time to get them out of your system...the ad's are also strong....did you stop them?..good luck....billy
I think you should see and eye doctor and not be diagnosed online.
Give yourself time to get over the drama of tx. Talk to your hep c doctor and
your family doctor.
Many of us including me are a little off due to tx. Don't rely on anyone who
gives you negative advice about a general situation.
You know within yourself what you need and the people you live around could certainly give you more insight than we can hear.
Stay strong it's going to get better.

Please see a doctor! Maby psychologist. It's possible that something changes in you brain after tx. What you described reminds me on one of my schizofren patient, only difference that he did not know always what is real and what not. I hope that this wil dissapear and that you'l get wel
I would hold off a little but ultimately if it does not resolve I agree with Cheppie and see an opthamologist. This could possibly happen to coincide with treatment or it could be related to treatment but you never know until you ask.
Also in the meantime you might want to rule out (obvious) things you have probably thought of already, but here goes:
1. The lighting in your house
2. The time of day it is and/or any possible patterns (a particular room, for example).
3. What you were doing beforehand.
4. Does it happen in both eyes or your dominant eye.
Hope this works out. Keep us posted :)
i have had increased floaters which sometimes make me think i see objects but i do not think they changed after tx but have increased with age. good luck, babs
ps check my photos, u will love my beamer!
I didn't even think of that...my vision was very blurred the first 2 months on tx. Thank you!
Have you gone to see a eye doctor? Treatment can effect your vision.
I'm seeing my retinal eye doctor tomorrow. You should have your eyes
checked for changes due to treatment. It could be nothing but I have
a retinal issue before treatment and it does make you see strange things.
I would get that check first before thinking its something else.
Good Luck
Oh, I can not wait to feel joy again! That pretty much left the second I started tx.
I'm exercising & eating whole foods. The mind sx are a trip!
8weeks is not enough time to get the meds out of your system.
Although I didn't see things, I remained grumpy until about 3 months post tx when suddenly, and happily, my joy returned.
Know that it takes time, eat well, exercise and remember that things will change.
