Why aren't you waiting until the new drugs come out in October? There will no injections and a higher cure rate.
Your very brave 12 pills to go im excited for you. Hope and pray all goes the best it can. Keep me posted i need as much support and advice as possible i have had 10 yrs of over 40 suicdal attempts due to being in care and bullying. i have not had those feelings since i was 20 30 yrs ago. its my other concern. i read and seem to know more then my specialist does. some of the things or side effects i have already yet i havnt started this treatment its all on monday to attempt it. i have spine pain blotches and spots around chest shoulders and neck cellulitus and bad circulation already. I feel my specialist doesnt act like she needs to know about these thing's or havent done enough checks about other things i may have yet reading the drugs booklet covers every side effect known to man no wonder im scared. and that tell your doc if this happens or that happens. its almost as if the doc is like just take it see what happens who knows, which scares me like its unpredictable and i could seizure or tremor i fear the worst always. hope i can mentally do this.
Congratulations im very very glad to hear that well done. Pain that is explainable and that doesn't last for long times doesn't bother me its always the mental panic attack side for me. very powerful mind i wish i hadn't.
Thankyou so much do you think sovaldi will be avaible in uk as im hearing alot of people failing this treatment i have to take like 7 rib a day as well seems alot im 126 stone though. I have genotype 1 and have cirriosis i contracted this a little less then 10 yrs ago main thing i struggle with is hallucinations and that kind of thing would make me stop this. Also adding other treatments after can make it worse is it not best to wait for sovaldi im not a gambler but 50/50 to 89 percent is a big leap.
I take my shot about 10 on Friday nights, take a Tylenol and go to bed. I take it easy over the weekend and Mondays. I Find fatigue is the main issue for me. If I rest frequently and don't overdo, it hasn't been too bad. Some weeks worse than others. Everybody reacts differently. My best advice is to make sure you drink lots and lots of water and don't plan a lot for the days after your shot.
Tonight is my final shot of this treatment. 12 more pills. :).
Best of luck on your journey. We are all here to help each other through. Remember... One revolution at a time!
Be well!
I would take my shot at noon on Fri. and be feeling better by about noon on Mon. Hope that helps.
It's different for everyone, but for me PegInterferon was very much like the flu, with the first three days after injection being the harshest (PegInterferon alpha-2b). It was different from week to week, with no 'first is the worst (though a lot of people have reported that).
Good luck. Drink your water and use this board.
