First week lab results Solvaldi/Olysio
Ok I just received my first week labs. My ALT and AST (liver function) are IN NORMAL RANGE!!!! Those haven't been normal since I have known I had hep C not since before 1990 OMG!!! Jump around, jump around, jump around, jump, jump, jump. Yay!!!!!!!

And sooo happy for you too Heart! Sounds like you are getting thru tx this time around without too many side effects? I'm still waiting for the next round of studies to start at NIH sometime in May. I've been more fatigued than ever lately,got my luggage out and so ready to get started.

No sides at all that I have noticed same tired I have been feeling before treatment. Maybe a tad more energy but that could be because so excited about trying for a cure. All in all pretty boring on the side effect front.
Good luck on treatment hang in there.
Thanks to everyone for their kind words and well wishes. Not a lot of people I can share my excitement with especially who would understand how we who have been living with this worry of will I get sick and when hanging over our heads for year after year.

I am just so excited because I have been a total NULL responder in the past. When I took pegintron with Ribavirin my viral load actually increased while on treatment. My hep C bugs laughed at interferon. So just to see my liver functions go into normal range after only one week I am just totally amazed and overwhelmed. Hoping this means I will beat the virus this time.
Feeling optimistic :-)
