You are more than welcome. I am so pleased you were able to get a replacement shot. You might want to write down my phone number just in case...
Best of blessings to you!
Kathy
We sure can be at the mercy of the weather these days, with these huge snowfalls. My delivery was sent out a day early because of the weather forecast and even then, my delivery man was very delayed and said it was such rough going. I'd never seen him look so worn out, facing the elements on the road.
The one time my meds had to be replaced due to a power outage, I was panicked until I saw how routinely and helpfully the pharmacy replaced everything. It smoothly took care of everything, I am glad to say.
I hope your power is now on for good and look forward to hearing about your twelve week blood draw in your separate post.

Thank you so much for all your kind words and support, I made it to Beth Isreal and picked up the sample, I couldn't respond to let everyone know because when I arrived home, we had no power AGAIN! If finally came back on and went out again last night for 8 hours. Anyway, all is good and hopefully Caremark will be shipping out me replacement supply today.
Kathy73, thank you for your offer, it's nice to know that there is someone else on treatment not to far from me. Hopefully I can do the same for you if anything should ever happen to one of your injections.
I have some news regarding my 12 week blood draw, which I will post under separate cover.
Merry Xmas all!
Linda
i'm hoping the best for you. do you think you can recover the meds your husband through away. since outside temp is so low, they might still work? but if not, dont risk it. i agree with jim, take your injection asap when you get it. and Kathy73 is such an angel for her offer.
this almost happened to me when my house was out of power from the big hurricane we had this year.
good luck.
Maybe its time to throw your husband out.
Good luck, and take the injection right away whenever you get it. In other words, if you end up getting the Pegasys on Monday, do not wait until Friday to inject. Of course, check with your doc but if he says anything different then check with another doc :)

Good luck. While you're at Beth Israel, stop in to see Dr. A maybe he can squeeze in a quick Fibroscan.
Yes, today is my shot day and I've literally been on the phone since 8:30 am this morning, it's almost noon. I've spoken with my doctor, Caremark Pharmacy and the manufacturer. Roche is going to send out a replacement to Caremark but Caremark will not overnight it to me because there not shipping today due to the 12 - 14 inches of snow we have coming. They hope to have it to me by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest but then what, do I take my shot then and then again on Friday, do I wait until Friday.
Just got a call from Pegasys, they have a sample at Beth Isreal, gotta run...wish me luck!
Is today your shot day? If you inject Tuesday, then you would be 4 days late, not as bad as a week late. I would make best efforts on the phone today to assure you receive the meds by Monday or Tuesday and make sure you speak to supervisors. Also, try some local pharmacies and/or hospitals and your doctors office to see if they can come up with something sooner. as it appears Roache will reimburse. It's too bad people here can't legally share some of their xtra Pegasys (I assume that's what you're taking?) but in the past, some have via private messages. Shame on them :)

Assuming today is shot day. Make a couple more calls. If you have not done so, call your Tx doc, maybe they have a few spares in the office. If not, ask them to call other HCV treatment doc in the area to see if thy may have some laying around. Know anyone else on tx you can borrow from. Not good to interrupt schedule.
