I read a study recently that showed an association between H.Pylori infection and low platelets. And many Hep C patients have H.Pylori....

Thanks for the input on the platelet ranges everyone. One interesting point, my hepatologist cautioned me not to read too much into platelets remaining low. He says they've put in brand new livers and the platelets remained low. They don't fully understand the mechanism involved, but it's clearly more than liver architecture.
Willing - I can't lay my hands on the paperwork to answer your question, but 18-13 or 16-12 seem like likely hi-lows.
