Took my last pill last night!!!

Finally, after 11 months it is over.  If I had to give it all a letter grade, I would say I ranged from C- to F the entire time.  I can  count on my one hand all the days I was C- and I spent many weeks at F.  Most of the tx was at D or D-.  My hemaglobin stayed in the 8 range for the last half of tx, but I never reached the 7 range which kept me from transfusions. Because I could not work, our home fell into  forclosure and the bank is auctioning it off Feb 22 at 11:00. This too is a causality of tx.

With all that said, if I had to choose between my health and my home, I would choose my health.  I am very confident that this has worked as I  have been Und. since week 8.

Now,  I want to  thank all of you here that made this terribly hard journey doable for me.  I learned everything  I needed to know to be successful from YOU, and because of YOU I had the support and understanding I needed to face each and every difficult day. For all the courage you have given me, I pray that there will always be someone there for each of you to help you through whatever you are facing, just as you did for me.

God bless you all.

Jazzy  ( I never used my real name so as not to leave a history trail for any of my family to follow)

Congratulations on taking your last pill. I can't wait till I can say the same thing next month! Finances and tx grades are pretty close here too, but with good health, all of that can be turned around.

Hang in there and I can see that SVR down the road for us.

Congratulations on finishing tx and here's hoping you recover quickly from the physical sx. I'm saddened that you've had to deal with the foreclosure on top of everything else. Tx seems to have peripheral damage over and above the physical ones and it just suxx.

My best wishes in going forward and for SVR down the pike.

congrats on completing treatment. Your story of treatment, hgb and foreclosure could have been written by me so I understand completely. Considering 30% of american home owners are underwater we are not alone. Having hep c and going through treatment certainly puts what's important in life in perspective.

Looking forward to hearing that you are svr in a few months.
Take Care,
Dave

Congratulations on taking your last pill and your incredible sense of value.
I am so sorry to hear you are losing your home.  the economy and priorities in this country have reached an all time low.  That should not have happened to you.  We have given the banks and the corporations way to much power and some day the scales will balance.
I would never purchase a home on an auction just because of stories like yours.  I am so ashamed of the value system in our culture, there are many people with strong values and good priorities, so that is what I hope to focus on.  None of this will last forever, so choose your path, you have a second chance,  CONGRATULATIONS
