UND Can we still pass along the virus somehow?

Once the blood work has confirmed UND this means we have the virus removed from the blood.  My question to the group is can we still give Hep C to others at this point? I'm not sure what studys have been done on this.

Thanks Debra

I have been concerned with my husband giving me the weekly Procrit shot - we have been extra careful.

I would agree with flcyclist, being UND an d SVR is two different things. Good luck going forward

UND means that no virus was detected above the limits of detection.  The sensitivity of the test depends of which one was run for the PCR.  Although highly unlikely, the possibility of tranmission is still there via blood to blood, but even lower imho since much less virus is present.  If there are studies done, I'm sure someone will post.

And major congrats on the UND
