If your looking to get into a trial expect to wait anywhere from 6 months to a year after treating. A trial has to prove that it is their drugs that cured you. They are not going to risk nor would the FDA allow anything but assurance that they cured you or put you at no risk. If you go to clinical trials.gov and find the trials you are interested in they would have this info in their listing.
Best to you, you will get there.
Thanks for your reply and believe me,I was ready the same day I knew I relapsed.
Glen
I was ready to try again straight away. It's up to your doc and your liver team
Even though I was ready, I got breast cancer in November - had to have 2 surgeries and, of course, they wouldn't let me begin treatment for Hep C while treating the breast cancer.
but even that didn't set me back except for a few months. Last surgery was in January. Started Harvoni/Riba in March
I know there are benefits to giving it a rest - including the simply astounding advances happening every day - but for those that are cirrhotic, I would try something else right away
If you are up to it, make yourself the most compliant and eager candidate in the running for the trials. You will beat this yet.
Some people have started right after one treatment. As far as a trial call the trial contact and ask.
