We are still in shock

On April 14, my brother was told his liver cancer had spread to his blood vessels and bones and was inoperable.  On Friday, May 2, my brother passed away.  He was on Nexavar for 9 days and could not tolerate it.  He began vomiting blood on the ninth day and passed away 36 hours later.   We are still in shock. It happened way too fast.

Keep your loved ones dear to you.  Cherish the time you have with them.  God Bless!

I am so sorry for your loss, you are perfectly right about cherishing the time and I might add, practice letting it all go.  It is so unfortunate when that letting go comes up quickly without the time to prepare.  Every day, practice letting go.. I lost my brother 3 yrs ago suddenly, he suffered while alive (Vietnam Vet) and tried to practice letting go.  I truly believe he is in a better place.  Blessings, M4now

so sorry for your loss...very sorry....the only bright side is  the pain of bone cancer is horrendours, so in  your brother's case, it is a mercy he went fast, otherwise it would have been pure torture.   Not much comfort to your pain of loss....but it helps to know his suffering was cut short for some people.   Seeing extreme pain go on and on makes things seem so senseless   and unfair, yu knw?
