Good luck on your journey. Time to kick some viral a** !!
Remember to get rest. I was over active the last three days and I am paying the price today !
Yah, bro, don't sweat it at all. You'll be doing it in your sleep soon. Seriously, I was super careful the first time also - but it was such a pain in the butt, I just decided I wasn't gonna worry about it.
Follow good hygenic practices (clean work area, hands washed, skin disinfected) and just pop it in.
It takes me about 15 seconds now, if I take my time. Otherwise, I can do it in 5.

Hey congradulations on your journey, may it be as good as mine has been (im on wk 11) You gotta watch those little buggars (those glass surenge viles and those needle tips. they dont screw on like most of the vet surenges and their not attached like other vet surenges or diabetic surenges ( I know I spelled dat wrong) what you discribed happened to me and others. We gotta take care to make sure it is very snuggly on, yet be careful not to break it. You'll be alright my friend.
It sounds fairly routine to me, with perhaps the exception of some leakage. I wouldn’t worry a bit; most of us have either lost a drop or two going in, or leaking back out from the injection site shortly afterward.
You’ll probably develop some red blotches at the site too; they take about a week to develop… I used them as sort of a reminder, and would avoid that area in subsequent injections.
It sounds like you’re on your way; good luck to you, and let us know how things are in the morning. Many of us will take a couple of Tylenol (acetaminophen) right about now, just to head off possible aches and ouwies that come afterward.
Best to you, and good luck-
Bill
