Week 8 Labs - Improvement?

Hi Guys,

I just got my week 8 labs. The nurse put in the subject line "You're labs are looking great!". I opened them up, excited, to find out what she was so excited about.

It appears that my WBC, ANC, and platelets have actually RISEN back into the normal range. Granted, their at the very low end, but the came up quite a bit since week 6:

WBC went from 2.51 to 3.35
ANC went from 1114 to 1970.
Platelets went from 132 to 150.
ALT and AST are both now at record lows (18, and 22 respectively).

Finally, my HGB took a big hit this time, dropping almost a gram from 15.4 to 14.4 in two weeks. I started with almost 17, so the Riba is finally starting to kick in. I'm definitely noticing my endurance level falling off.

Anyhow, is it normal for these counts to rise? Is this a bad sign for clearing? Or can and does it happen routinely? I'm hoping I'm just one of those lucky ones who may not need any assistance meds.

Any personal experience would be most welcome.

Thanks

RBW

For those not familiar with my situation, I'm in a study and my viral load counts are blinded till week 12.

Guess that's really the only number that matters in the end eh ?
