I lost a lot at the end. I'm starting to recover after ending on Aug. 10. I ate a bunch of Mexican food last night and dropped another half a pound. Go figure. One heck of a way to get back into your skinny clothes.
My weight stayed pretty steady until about week 20, then I started to lose both weight and hair. I fell into the normal BMI range for the first time in years. I look a bit gaunt, especially in my face, but I feel good getting the weight off and trimmer since I was pre-diabetic before tx. Now to try and keep it off after tx! I don't have much of an appetite and have to push myself to eat. Everything except fruit, fresh green beans and peas in the pod is repulsive this week.
Some days all I could eat was apples. I would take my riba with some spoons of coconut oil and an apple. And then I had periods where I was eating like a pig. But mostly, I was eating very little. I lost a lot of weight, and by the end of tx I didn't even have a behind to sit on. Mind you, I was lying in bed all through tx anyway, so didn't really need it.
I'm guessing that if you eat a lot and you are still loosing weight, your thyroid might be hyper... then you burn fat faster.
I've lost around 50 lbs on tx, week 41 of 48. Luckily I needed to lose that and more! Nothing seems appetizing. Another lucky thing is being married to a restauranteur who keeps on making things that appeal to me.
Oh, yeah...I lost weight...almost 20 pounds & I didn't have it to lose. The deeper into tx I got, the less interested in food I became...it all started to taste like cardboard. I rarely get a "taste" for anything..I'm eating to stay alive. In fact, since I'm on the pegintron, my dr adjusted my dosage to compensate for the weight loss.
I've heard of a lot of folks loosing weight. I've lost about 10 lbs in about 30 wks and I also eat all the time. I'm surprised because I am NOT very active on tx.
I ate like a pig on TX but it was mostly wholesome organic foods and i stayed the same weight, seems like the drugs ate the food. After TX and i gained weight easy with the same diet,at least i didnt lose muscle this time around.
