Aloha,
Questions like this one seem to get asked a lot on this forum. I recently read
this article where a Doctor said, " hepatitis C infection comes from deep
tissue blood exposure". Otherwise, it's really not that easy to get from
from a surface exposure. A syringe has a hole where blood can be trapped
and then be projected into deep tissue. By using a syringe you can access
deep tissue and therefore this becomes a high risk exposure. Getting blood on the surface of your skin even with a surface cut is a low risk exposure.
You have to get the blood of the infected person into your blood stream. If you think about that for a minute.................its not that easy.
best to You
There might be risk for some other type of infection but with Hepatitis C there has to be a blood to blood exchange. Meaning infected blood somehow gets into your blood stream.
