Any possibilities for ClinicalTrial for people from Burma

Hi All,
This is Aung again. Any possibilities ClinicalTrial for HCV patient from Burma? Even at our neighboring countries like Thailand or Singapore? So that we can go and try....

Here is a link to the Roche web site, they are the other manufacturer of Peg and Riba. Pegasys and Copegus. You can chose the different countries from the drop down menu. You might get a better deal for meds in Indonesia than in Singapore. I think you may need to shop around for prices in the different countries.

Hi Bill your information is very useful...I have a friend at Singapore and will try to get his help... I will personality try to call them for information...

Please take note that if you guys travel, I would like to invite to Myanmar. I shall be honest with you that I may not be in a position to effort for hotel fees and airticket fees but surely can take care you guys for daily mail, transportation, tour and the rest everything. If you consider to stay at inn..Maybe :D..Our country is very beautiful country....

I just wanted to stress again that your wife cannot be treated while pregnant and breast feeding. The drugs are very strong and would be very dangerous for the baby.

I would be difficult to say.  Most of us are in the US. Google Schering Plough and Roche Drug Companies to see if they are offering medication assistance (trial or SOC)  or consult with the closest teaching hospital in your area to see if they offer any type of trial or treatment program.
