How long side effects last

My husband will be done with treatment at the end of April.  He is a graphic installer and needless to say he was way to sick to be working outside and swinging from latters during treatment.  He needs to let his job know when he will be able to work again and was wondering how long do the side effects last once you stop treatment?

The interferon will be out of him very quickly - the riba takes a bit longer and although it does vary by person of course some people feel better almost immediately.  I treated for 72 weeks so it took me a while longer than most (I had to work the whole time so I never really got to rest or anything to recover like that) but eventually yes...........he should be able to go back to work this season easily.

As soon as he is able to try he should get up and get out of the house. Sometimes just the action of working and doing things helps not only physically to bring your strength back but also psychologically.

It varies for everyone. My best guess would be about 8 weeks, especially if he is not anemic.
