Ouch. My husband had to have a couple of transfusions during treatment, but procrit has helped him keep out of transfusion territory... has your doctor offered the option of procrit yet?  I hope the extra rbc's are helping you feel better, though!

As SusieS pointed out, some people have a drop in platelets, which can lead to easier bruising.  Hopefully your doctor keeping an eye on these things.  It doesn't hurt to ask for copies of all your results, and whenever in doubt, you can ask and post questions here.  Best of luck with things and treatment!

Interferon lowers your platelets and that can cause bruising. Do you know what your platelet count is?
