Its hard to give information for someone in Malaysia.
I was first diagnosed in Thailand. I came home to be treated.
You need to talk to a doctor, preferably a GI or better yet, an hepatologist, liver doctor.
Good luck

Hi,

The standard treatment consists of interferon and ribavirin. If you're genotype 1, there are new medications that can be taken in combination with these.

The drugs are expensive. I don't know where you are or if you have health insurance or national health. In the U.S. people without much money can get the drugs for free from the pharmaceutical companies.

You should really speak to your doctor regarding treatment options.

Here's a link to give you more information about hepatitis C and your treatment options. Good luck.
