clinicalHow trials

Does anyone know anything about clinical trials? How hard is it to get accepted for one? Do I have to apply to different ones individually?

It would depend on which trial you are trying to get in to as they all have different inclusion and exclusion criteria depending on several factors( genotype, being treatment naive, things like that) Yes you would have to apply individually. Here is the trial search page, it will help you to find one that might fit your needs as far as location and many other criteria that you choose to search for.

Hope that helps

I was offered to participate in a trial because they were looking for genotype 1, treatment naive.  I was diagnosed less than a year ago and haven't had treatment yet.

I go to a liver clinic in a hospital, though.  So better access to this stuff.  :)

I'm in the BI 20133 trial, phase III.
