fibroscan question
What does the fibroscan show? I guess you can't check for iron in the liver with it. I assume it's similar to an MRI and just shows visuals. Does anyone know the limitations of it as compared to a biopsy.
you are right it is used to assertain the amount of fibrosis, mostly for hepatitis patients. it is also a useful tool for anyone that whats to see if they have cirrhosis as this is when the machine is most accurate
