I've got a friend who they're going to try Harvoni on, she did some crazy photo-luminescance thing in the 90's. I had tried to get her in to the doc as I did Sovaldi last year and am cured of HepC (yay!), still have cirrhosis and all that it involves, but she's in a corner now. I told her it should be even easier than Sovaldi, no interfereon or ribavirin. I just wanted to get some feedback for her from people who are on it and have completed treatment. Thanks in advance!
Hey,
Was just wondering if you made any headway with your prescription plan?

We are! And praying, too! Now go camping and have a great time! and, never mind the mesquitos, don't let the alligators bite!
Keep on keeping on.
Don't get shoes out, just polish :-) I am <15 per 7 wk( starting 10, but I sought out chief of center for liver disease~ Dr. Schiff ( big doc) @ U Miami clinical trial center..faxed him all my stuff, he called me NEXT day & said " you're cure, put your Harvoni in a backpack & go camping in the Everglades & call me at 12 wk EOT for sure, & we'll go dancing" sweetest REAL doctor ever( we know mine has neglected me entire time... He did call me back (2 1/2 wks( thurs) post labs & said he thought my # was UND...& then he asked" when do you finish treating?" LOL...not, I will advocate for his other pts... So I'm very hopeful... Hope w/ me :-)

Hi there & welcome!
I am on Medicare & my part D Rx is with United health care( Optum Rx) of course, I can only speak for me but they approved me almost instantly in November for Harvoni 12 & covered $86,000 Patient Assistance Network picked up balance & I have no copay. Miracle, really! I haven't seen any formulary change, so grateful me would most definitely choose UHC. It's $33/month & to boot, donut hole was met instantly, & any meds I take are pretty much free now for 2015... Wow! Sure pray I stay cure for their generous outlay!
In case you're wondering about approval, I'm gt 1a PRE Tx VL 9,500,000 w/ F2 fibrosis
Lots of luck & blessings
