Seriously? Lots of people have hep c. Some will have it all their lives and not even know it while others will die from it. He needs a special doctor (hepatologist or gastroenterologist) to determine what shape his liver is in and whether any treatment possible or likely to succeed. It is a complicated decision.

My advice is to start with the doctor, and then go from there. Your concern is touching, but with all due respect, curing hep c involves a lot more than changing a diet or adding vitamins.

Your dad is lucky to have you looking out for him. Get him to a doctor.
