Hi there -
We do allow outside links, as long as they aren't spam, porn, etc. The Health Pages are created and edited by members, so feel free to add to, edit, and update as you wish.
Let me know if you have questions about it, I'm glad to help.
Emily
Thanks James. That is a good link. I think this thread should be moved and/or re-posted in MedHelp's Health Pages (the drop down menu on the lower right).
Many of the topics in that thread are based on the old SOC. For example the "HCV TX SHOPPING LIST" was written in 2010 and not very reflective of triple therapy. The "HCV Don't List" (also written in 2010) could use an update - mainly because fatty food is in instrumental with Incivek.
I am not sure if MedHelp allows putting information from external links in that area (or better yet, the link itself) but James' post has one of the few links I have come across that has a little of everything in one place. Sites such as Clinical Care Options, HCVAdvocate and the VA are great resource & detailed info sites but there is no one page that has a little of everything so people can get an overall idea of what's in store:
Here is the specific link I am referring to:

* The Extra-hepatic manifestations is brief but there is a link under it that leads to a list that has most of them.
The "Initial HCV Work-up" has all the labs normally made after after one is diagnosed.
The section "Managing Side Effects" is brief - which is probably a good idea and probably deserves its own link.

Thanks for that James.
I highlighted the link I think is very exciting regarding Gilead.
