I bet u are glad that;s all over...
how did it go, what part of it was painful?
hope your results are all good.
good luck!
Thank you guys sooo much i did have the BX today, It was very painful and i was terrified but i got through it thank you all.....
For most people there is no pain. Some have a pain in the shoulder from mild to severe. A very few have complications, during or after the bx, that can be very bad, like a lung puncture or some other organ. Just make sure that the bx is ultrasound or CAT scan guided.
I'll send good thoughts your way. Can relate to the fear but have feeling it will go just fine and it will not be painful at all and you will optimistic results back.
Hey Jess,
I'm a big time wuss and my biopsy was pretty much as easy as losts. The anticipation for the biopsy is the worst part.

hey there jes',
I remember when i had my biopsy done about a year ago or so. Before having the procedure done, i was told how many thing could go wrong...so i was a lil nervous and thought everything can go really bad. But nothing ever does really, i mean they do it thousands of time and it's done so quick. Have complete faith in that respect.
I recall him giving me 2 lots of needles to numb up the area, they stung like a bee zing , but only for a few seconds if that. then he went in there and it felt like someone punched me in that area , felt strange, but NOT PAINFUL... only thing i hated was laying on that side for an hr and then on my back for about 3 hrs , im assuming this was routine procedure. ONLY thing i guess was the shoulder was feeling a lil tingly, i personally wasn't bothered with it, but the dude next to me was, they gave him some pain killers for it to shut him up...i healed properly... lol, the rest is history. I'm now all cleared, and will be going for a PCR test on the 12month anniversary...
good luck!
