God knows opiates are hard to deal with........I'm sorry about your relapse, you know better than anyone what you can handle or not when it comes to drugs so it's not my place to say anything about that (as an addict myself) just be careful. It's awfully easy to take a perc here or there on treatment - just don't let it happen.

Smoke using a vaporizer. It cuts down a lot on the carcinogens, which are probably the particles that cause damage. You can also try making butter from cannabis and use it that way instead of smoking it. Just Google and you will find answers to all this.
Your doctor has to prescribe it for medical use, then you need to apply in your state for a Medical Marijuana Card. I would not smoke it and not have a Medical Marijuana Card. If you were to get stopped in a traffic accident and they did a blood test, you could be in serious trouble. Be careful and ask your doctor...
Magnum
I find it very helpful, but the research on pot and HCV only looks at everyday use and suggests that overuse can complicate and further damage a damaged liver, especially Fibrosis. I have found information on moderate use from limited sources. It is suggested that you use cannabis not more than twice weekly. I smoke once a week, sometimes twice and use very little, that said, medical Marijuana in CA is so high quality you do not need much to help with side effects. NO, never alcohol
Best of luck
