hr,jmjm/all ?about suppliment

i was wondering if anyone has heard of a supp i believe is called mms.  i was told that it has good response for those with hepc and keeping the virus at bay.  i asked what the contents are of this and was told by the doctor who believes in this product that it contains 28% sodium chloride and 78% saline, water i believe.  was told that there is good response to this tx for those in third world countries and that the pharm are fighting the test of this tx because it works.  i am curious what you all think. since i was a good responder on my first tx and relapsed should i look into this suppl or should i just wait for the new drugs to come along.
thanks you all.  :O)

After reading your post I did some research and I found many anecdotes on a third party site that had provided space where people were supposed to be giving accolades about how well MMS worked.  They were from unfortunate people who had hep c and tried MMS, hoping for a cure.  Not one of them was "cured" and many of them became very ill, on top of being ill with hep c.  If you keep posting links to quack cures that could be injurious to people I personally will ask to have them removed and you banned.  I provided information to you about a hep c related question, because that's what this site is for.

There is a lot of disinformation about hepatitis c and this is a site for support and information for people who have hep c or who care about people with hep c, to share information about hep c and to help people in the treatment of hep c.  We even provide people with information on how to contact those pharmaceutical companies you hate so much in order to ask for help with free medication in order to treat, something we have seen the pharmaceutical companies do time and time again for people who are unable to afford their meds.  This site is not a for profit site designed for the promotion and sale of products, particular not ineffective and possibly dangerous products that have absolutely no research to back up their efficacy.

The mandate of this forum is listed at the top of the thread, as follows:

"This forum is for questions about medical issues and research aspects of Hepatitis C such as, questions about being newly diagnosed, questions about current treatments, information and participation in discussions about research studies and clinical trials related to Hepatitis."

Rken, although I listened to you politely when you first posted, you have worn out your credibility. By your unrelenting persistence, you have not demonstrated to me that you merely want to present scientific data at odds with mainstream thought but that in fact you have a deliberate agenda. It wouldn't surprise me if your 'guinea pig', who has repeatedly voiced skepticism about MMS, soon posts that he is miraculously cured by it.  It is looking more to me like a coordinated effort. That is just my reaction, since you simply won't  leave well enough alone and always want the last word.

You have no idea how crucial this forum is to many of us currently on treatment and how it reaches out to help people in real, sometimes desperate need. Please find a different forum. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing with your inciteful and educational posts. However i think you misinterpreted the statement about him discovering Chlorine dioxide. he didn't. He was the first to mix citric acid annd sodium chlorite to  produce a unique cure for malaria or so he claims. Your are right it has been used in municipal water treatment plants for years and in small doses, such as you get in water treatment it does not burn your throat and in the dosage given in his protocal it creates no burning in the throat.

It is currently being used in a variety of prescription drugs to treat ALS, MS, Aids and is being studied in the US and other countries for its effectiveness in treating Hep C.

Oh no, no, no.  I'm not falling for that one.  I'm not getting into a big discussion on why you shouldn't be drinking distilled water.
