Can anyone translate these test results to me?

These are from a while ago. I waas just wanting opinion from ppl who know, b/c I don't know anyhting about all these....

VL     15900 (then it says...."to convert from IU/ML to copies/ML multiply the result by 2.7)
ALT    60
AST    28

There's a bunch of other stuff but I dont think it's important...

my results on the hep c test came back reactive  ab  then the (NRML-RANGE UNITS) negative what does this mean??

Your viral load (amount of virus detected in your blood) is very low if it is 15000. The numbers related to your liver enzymes (which reflects inflammation of your liver) are mildly elevated. These numbers by themselves are encouraging, but you need to learn more. Do you know your Genotype? Have you had a biopsy? Are you currently under the care of a gastroenterologist or liver doctor? There are lots of websites (such as Janisandfriends) where you can learn more, which is crucial to you in managing, understanding and making treatment decisions, Best wishes to you and let us know when you find out your status.

I am no expert, but these don't look so bad. Did you get your BX yet? Your VL is pretty darn low, and AST is normal. ALT is high, but not bad. This is good news! The BX will tell a lot more... Look for the H or L next to the number on your labs. This is what the Docs look for. On tx they look mainly at HGB and Abs Neutrils (sp)
