The side effects are not as bad as they could be i guess, from what i read here. I have a couple of good days a week, i do my shots on wed mornings and i feel pretty bad on the weekends but on mon and tues i feel ok. My side effects are im very tired, hard to breath sometimes ive learned to take things real slow lol. So far not lost but a little hair. Ive not lost a pound lol, just my luck that dont happen lol. The last few weeks have been hard at times but after today its makes me know its all worth it. Thanks yall....you guys will never know how much being here with yall has help me.
Yeah!!!..I'm happy for your good news!!! Hang in there!...I'm extending to 48 weeks also(geno3, slow responder). Here's to our journey, and to SVR!!
Thank you for the comment I was recently diagnosed and I thought of not doing the treatment and treating myself. I thank you for sharing I have hep c type 2 and I now think I will try the treatment. I hate needles and I have to work everyday I am the supervisor of my department; this will not be easy. How were the side effects? I never took medicine for anything. I hate needles. However life is worth it.
Congrats.....what a wonderful surprise when you were expecting bad news! Stick with it, you're doing great to have finished the first lap...

That's wonderful news. I'm very happy for you. You are 95% on your way to SVR! That's great.
Libzo - Try to think of something else until you get the news. No sense expecting the worst. It will be what it will be. You will survive whatever. Take good care.
Happy greetings and thank you for sharing. I am on the Human Geno trial (1b) doing Albufernon with Riba. I am also at the 12 week mark waiting for the unblinding. Any day now, the doctor will e-mail the results. I am on pins and needles. There are so many fighters on this site that showed me how to do it - run the gamut. I am afraid to think the best possible outcome though I know I should just to keep positive energy alive because I carry a sadness for those that might be eliminated from treatment. I almost expect the worst with more comfort than something great to happen. Lord have mercy.
It means that they can't find the virus in your blood. It means that you have a good chance of being cured but it is still too soon to tell for sure. If you are still undetected 6 months after you stop the treatment (and yes, you must do the full 48 weeks) you are cured and have less than a 2% chance of the virus returning. Congratulations. You are on your way to a virus free life!!
it means from my information it is in dormant, but maybe someone else can give u more info
