medical assistance turned me down

I was just turned down for medical assistance which I needed to get on the transplant list. Does anyone know where I should go from here. Not really in the right frame of mind to deal with this.

Lou,
Check with the American liver foundation. You could ask your employer for benefits and seeing how you really need them they might agree. Check with any clinical trials that could help you. One possibility is www.arbios.com   They are testing a liver dialysis device that might be a good fit for you.Don't know where you are but they have a list of doctors that are testing it and you could get in touch with their offices and check it out. They could probably help with advice about benefit resources. They are all transplant specialists and have dealt with these matters before.
