4d, I was genotype 1, but I believe there is at least one forum member that would be interested in info exchange for GT-4.
Try Bali:

The drug you might be referring to that will hopefully be approved and released for general use is ‘Telaprevir’, by Vertex Pharmaceuticals. This is one of a new class of meds collectively called ‘STAT-C’ (Specifically Targeted Antiviral Therapy); there are many others behind this, but it’s likely this will be first in line for approval.
Good luck—

There is one member here, Bali, who is very knowledgeable, is a genotype 4 and is currently treating.
He really put all his ducks in a row before starting treatment and reserached G-4's to every extent possible, although you are probably aware that the pickings are slim for G-4 studies.
Here's his profile page and I'd suggest you either send him a note or a private message or better yet, both:

I encourage you to contact him, as he's a wealth of both knowledge and experience. I think he pre-dosed riba but can't remember if he took alinia (nitazoxanide) or at some point considered it.
Quite a few people on this board have relapsed. Susan400 has done treatment upwards of ten times and remains hopeful for her next try. Andiamo treated ten or eleven times and succeeded by adding the new Stat-C drugs.
What were your last biopsy results?
Best wishes and my sincere regrets about your relapse.
Susan
