Go tell your doctor and get a test. I wouldn't be concerned but be cautious. Its pretty hard to get the virus outside of drug use, tattoos and transfusions- blood to blood direct exposure is necessary but it is advised that people with Hep C don't share razors and toothbrushes with anyone else so a box cutter that you both may have bled on could potentially do it. The virus can live for up to 4 days outside of the body.
You can get tested now. HCV RNA can be detected 1-2 weeks after exposure.
HCV RNA, where could i take this test at without going through health insurance? Is there a online source i can go to and that is not to much?
Here is some info I found on a web search for hepatitis c testing Kansas City MO
