Hi there, I used to have the red spots which would later turn to brown. I was test for cyroglobulinemia and tested positive.
After I finished tx I went to a dermatologist and showed him the brown spots. He said they were iron stains left by the blood that had leaked out of the capillaries to just under the skin.
He also told me they would never go away, they were like a tattoo.  2 to 3 years after finishing tx I realized that the spots were going away. They are gone now. Do you just have the brown spots or continue to have the red? The test is very sensitive so I had to go to a hospital to be tested.
