Just curious why when all your tests were negative you repeated your tests.

You were negative you had no reason to repeat testing.

i m so tired i reallized PCR RNA test is very expensive .i got my result Anti Hcv negative from 2 place and positive from one place .i m not able to decide and worried so much .lets see i m going to dubai i ll take my test from there .lets see ..i have read a lot on internet .regarding kissing and oral sex with latex condom and i found there is no risk .i never donate blood nor i never take blood .but i am so much paranoid.
I can’t help you with your anxiety issues.

You tested negative twice your description of what you experienced was not a risk. That’s all I can tell you except speak with your personal doctor. Or when you can afford to do so and simply for your own peace of mind because of the one conflicting only slightly positive result which likely was a false positive have the HCV RNA test.

I take it you have no insurance coverage for this type of testing. My medical insurance covers my doctor required lab tests that I have to have every six months

Have the HCV RNA by PCR test this looks for the actual virus not just antibodies. Then you will know if you infected or you are not. There is no reason to have any additional Hep C antibody testing.

Hep C is not generally considered to be an STD although there is some risk primarily for those who have multiple sex partners or those who engage in rough sexual practices like BSDM or blood letting where there could be a risk of hep c infected blood entering the blood stream of an uninfected person.

Hep c is a blood borne virus it requires hep c infected blood to enter into the blood stream of an uninfected person to transmit the virus.

From what you describe you likely were not at any risk. But simply for peace of mind have the HCV RNA by PCR test this will remove any doubt of your status.

From the US Center for Disease Control:

“People can become infected with the hepatitis C virus during such activities as:

Sharing needles, syringes, or other equipment to prepare or inject drugs

Needlestick injuries in health care settings

Being born to a mother who has hepatitis C

Less commonly, a person can also get hepatitis C virus through

Sharing personal care items that may have come in contact with another person’s blood, such as razors or toothbrushes

Having sexual contact with a person infected with the hepatitis C virus

Getting a tattoo or body piercing in an unregulated setting

Hepatitis C virus is not spread by sharing eating utensils, breastfeeding, hugging, kissing, holding hands, coughing, or sneezing. It is also not spread through food or water.”

For myself I suspect I contracted Hep c getting a tattoo at an unlicensed tattoo shop. It was a guys apartment over a bar frequented by soldiers when I was in the military. There was no sterilization equipment there in his kitchen and he was reusing the ink containers between clients.
I NEED TO ASK LAST QUESTION.

if  i do vaginal sex with rubber natural latex condom and while having  intercourse i found menstrual blood and i did not stop and ejaculated in side the condom and i did not fing any leakaging  or slip off condom .My all sperms were in side the condom and penis was covered with condom .if i checked condom with water and there was no leaking in the condom .Then in this way can i get hepatitis C .

I READ THAT HEPATITIS C VIRUS has very low risk while do vaginal intercourse unprotected .But if i do vaginal sex with latex condom brand DUREX EXTRA SAFE  and no tear no leakaging no slip off then what are the chances of hepatitis C.

why i m so worried because 2 hospitalsgave me negative HCV and one lab given me positive result .thats the reason i  am confused .

thanks for ur help once again.what is ur opinion on the light of above explanation ..
can condom 100% surest way to prevent hepatitis C if condom does not break slip or tear .even if contact with blood on latex condom
Nothing in life is 100% sure except death and taxes life comes with no guarantees. No one can answer your question except to say it is very, very low risk.

I fail to understand why you had any additional testing when you tested negative. No way to know why your second test was weakly positive but I’m very willing to bet you do NOT have hep c.

If you want to know for certain about your status have the HCV RNA by PCR test which tests for the presence of the actual hep c virus in your blood not just antibodies. Then you will know.
And again hep c infected blood must enter your blood stream. If you were eating a condom or did not have cuts on your penis blood cannot enter your blood stream so highly unlikely you would contract hep c
thanks ur rsply .i m planning to go PCR RNA TEST to solve this ambiguity .can u tellme what is the cost of this test in us dollar .
My testing was covered by insurance so I don’t really know for sure I’ve heard $400

This testing would really just be fore your peace of mind not sure why you would have had additional testing after the first negative test result you should have stopped there.

Or you could ask your doctor if they believe additional testing is warranted in your case if they say no then save yourself the cost of the test
