not a bigee, they did mine and it took about a week to get the results back. I'm a CC allele. good luck
Thanks all for your responses.
After spending time calling back and forth between Quest lab, Quest billing, and Quest customer service, it seems that Quest Diagnosis lab will do the blood test.
I will go back to the Quest lab tomorrow and see what happens. I just hope they know what to do after they draw my blood !
In Aus the IL28B test is not available on the PBS - anyone electing to have this test done needs to be prepared to pay privately - costs $100 AUS with approx 4 week wait for results
Before getting a gene test, be sure to consider the Arup test of two variants of the IL28B gene, which appears to be "state of the art" at this time. http://www.aruplab.com/Testing-Information/resources/TechnicalBulletins/February2011/Interleukin%2028%20B%20(IL28B)-Associated%20Variants,%202%20SNPs.pdf

I had the same problem, find a Labcorp and take the Quest Diagnostics lab sheet your Doctor gave you and they'll take care of you.
Quest diagnostics might not perform this test. It’s relatively new, only having been approved last summer, and is offered by Labcorp. Here is the link to their page on this test:

Their test number is:

Good luck,

when i had mine done 4 months ago, my Hepa told me that only a few labs were doing this test. i think it's improved by now. i also went to Quest, but i had to go to a certain location that did this test. i got my test while being screened for a trial for Globeimmune. i think the trial is still going on. i didn't have to pay cuz it was a prerequisite for the trial. i didn't get in.
here is a link for the trial:
