Bocaprevir Scherring trial

hi everyone

i treated for 30 weeks last year, stopping finally in october with a VL of 320
i started with a VL 8,500,000.....i never did reach UD during 30 wk attempt to kill the dragon

Im pretty sure i have a shot of being added to the next phase.. of Bocoprevir Trials
starting this fall via the UNIVERSITY OF PENNA HOSP

I Spoke by telephone to a very busy RA today,
she only gave me a few minutes of her time
she suggested there were many strict stipulation needed in order to be included in the Trial.

ONE....you must have documentation of exactly when you started treatment and when you came off the TX
h have that.

TWO.....she was a littl fuzy on this one, ,,,first she asked me when i became UD during my first failed attempt
at TX......I TOLD HER NEVER DID I BECOME UD.....
she said she wasnt sure whether that would disclude me from the trial or not but that she would look it up and get
back to me when go GOT BACK FROM VACATION.............geezus!!!

DOES ANYONE HERE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE TRIALS
What stipulations are needed to be included in the trial...

She did say that they had a big bocoprevir meeting at the end of july, goiing over all the stipulations but she hadnt had
time to review them all..

the info you gave me was exactly what i was looking for

All that dam RA had to tell me was website that you gave me
..........these doctors and nurses can be so dam condescending know it alls
geez..........its our lives at stake and i betcha we share and therefore know
more about the disease and TX than most of them do...

Yes i did have a 2log drop at week 12
going from
8,500,000 to  16,900 VL

for the next 18 weeks the VL kept creeping down but never
reached UD ,,,,,finally after having a mentally tough time with TX
i threw in the towel at week 30 with a VL of 230...

let me know if you find anything out about the Study Stipulations

I'm also looking to get in this trial, did you at lease have a 2 log drop by week 12???
