Diet for Cerosis

I have been on interferon and riboviron for 4 months (out of the original 11) and have been told it has only halved my viral levels. My Dr has suggested I stay on for up to 2 years. I have been given very little info or support from my hospital and need to know a comprehensive diet that I can follow please. I am at present living in West London and any suggestions of free complimentary therapies would also be very helpful. I am from Australia and have limited support here. I have found that doing yoga at home has helped me keep some strength up for anyone contemplating this treatment, its gentle yet strength promoting and helps balance the mind. Can highly recommend. Thanks for any helpful suggestions, support groups or sites.

I've been on herbs for 3 years now, but I'm getting worse, and if I can do the combo, I'm going to.  Do it while you are strong.  There is no guarantee on the herbs.  Now all of my counts are down and I have to take action.  I even got nutritional IV's. I'm still going downhill and it seems to be accelerating. I've done Lloyd's, Dr. Zhangs and my naturopaths.  I'd say try the herbs if you are strong, but as soon as you start sliding, go with the nasty drugs.

Yeah I am just feeling very frustrated without my energy and physicality, am so irritable and depressed at times just want to run....old pattern ya know!
Will stick with it for now, just when Dr said I have a miniscule chance of clearing it I was worried about losing 2 years of my precious life feeling like this for nothing possibly, they said I may only have 10ish left for Gods sake!!! Do these people know the damage they cause with their words? Thanks for encouragement, tis appreciated.

sure it's poison, lots of meds for diseases are "poison" but it kills this deadly virus, it is the only thing that does so far.

I have just looked up the book mentioned and also discovered Lloyd Wrights book called Triumph over Hepatitis C
also, Hepatitis C Free: Alternative Medicine Vs The Drug Industry, The People Speak. Has anyone read these books and had any luck with his ideas? I'd give anything to get off this "poison" as the Dr called it the other day....

A good book I've found is "The Hepatitis C Cookbook" by Heather Jeanne.

Hi, not advice about diet but I have been doing Acupuncture at the Gateway clinic in Stockwell South London through out my Tx and it has helped a lot.If you are interested get your GP to refer you, there is a waiting list but it is free and they specialise in HIV/HCV.If you want you could join people at:

http://www.ronmetcalfe.com/hepcforum/index.php

which is a UK forum, someone may be able to help with your diet questions and will definitely help with support.
PS I hope I'm not upsetting anyone here it's just that a UK site may have more localised info.I've been a lurker here for some time and appreciate the info garnered.I wish everyone well in their fight with the virus.
