Hep C antibodies

if a person is exposed and clears virus on his own , will the antibodies always be present ?? or will your body reprocess them and you would test negative eventually.

If someone is exposed to hepc and has pos antibodies and clears the virus on their own or with treatment the antibodies remain pos for life.
The viral load test, PCR by RNA is used to measure if there is a chronic hepc infection.
Another words if someone was exposed acutely and does not have a viral load then the antibodies remain pos. even if it never became a chronic infection.
