I think your list is really complete. I am sure you have read many posts that the sides were different for all. Some had no problems with appetite or nausea. I on the other hand, just didnt eat much at all, no appetitie. I lost about 20 so far. It got to the point where i had to eat whatever I could swallow. Anything not loose more weight.
It looks like you have done your homework!!!!
good luck with the start of TX...
Peace
rita
Ice cream is really the only thing you need and i'm not just saying that cause i sell it. (well really i am). Any way you will be just fine. Best to ya girl.

OK - gotta be honest --- had a bunch of food --- but ended up eating only these things:
Popsicles --- any kind of ice cream on a stick...
PRETZELS... And flipsides --- they are cracker pretzels --- both plain and cheddar.
Soups... any kind I liked.
And spaghetti Os.
Tons of crackers and potato chips...
Anything that was easily grabbable.
May your TX go well.

Yeah, I'm thinking quick and easy here...just in case of nausea, mouth probs...what have you...things that stay DOWN!
Want to have things on hand since I live alone and don't particularily relish scraping snow off my car in the middle of a MN blizzard to get them.
Plus, for my helpers, when they ask what they can do, I can be specific. As a carer, it's sometimes hard to know exactly what one's needs are when you haven't walked in their shoes.

Pam; try some raw cranberries with your yogurt; not bad and it seems tha UTI's can sometimes sow up during TX. Cranberries may help and keep one a tad less acidic.
Possibly consider the "BRAT" diet which is often used for diarrhea back when the kids were young)
(Lets see if I remember; Banana, Rice, Apples....and I can't remember the "T". : ) )
.....no....it ain't trout......
Willy
(who wishes that one of these years he will learn to spell diarrhea without spell checking it. ; ))
toast
(I remember mom giving it to me, yep)
That's a correct answer!!!!!!
....now I remember..... thanks.
Willy
I also forgot to post .....I take a swig of flax seed oil in the AM.
Keep in mind that you are encouraged to have some fat intake with your riba. IF you can.... find and use sensible fats.
Willy
bananas - rice - applesauce - toast
Toast! Sounds right, but I was hoping for Tiramisu.
Willy, I do love cranberries and even better, they're in season.
Thanks for the tips, all !
Pam

And i thought the T stood for TRIPE....
tripe /traɪp/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [trahyp] Show IPA Pronunciation ,
–noun 1. the first and second divisions of the stomach of a ruminant, esp. oxen, sheep, or goats, used as food. Compare honeycomb tripe, plain tripe.
with lots of real butter...
But seriously, don't take your toast lightly
... it is all in how you toast it...
"If Microsoft made toasters: Every time you bought a loaf of bread, you would have to buy a toaster. You wouldn't have to take the toaster, but you'd still have to pay for it anyway. Toaster'-Vista would weigh 15000 pounds (hence requiring a reinforced steel countertop), draw enough electricity to power a small city, take up 95% of the space in your kitchen, would claim to be the first toaster that lets you control how light or dark you want your toast to be, and would secretly interrogate your other appliances to find out who made them. Everyone would hate Microsoft toasters, but nonetheless would buy them since most of the good bread only works with their toasters.
If Apple made toasters: It would do everything the Microsoft toaster does, but 5 years earlier. "
If Mr Softy made guns we would have bullet dipensing machines at every street corner, and properly be all dead by now

Nah - they would never work. You would have to unplug them and plug them in again. Then you get a message "access denied" - very helpful.
You could always call and talk to support at $55 per hour. When you finally get the bullets you will probably kill yourself out of frustration.
What about the peanut butter?I take a heaping spoonful with every dose of riba.
Tammy
Oatmeal! It's really good with cinnamon. It will always go down, even when you're not hungry. Good Luck, -Libby
If Mr Softy made guns
----------------
Sorry guy i didn't know. So your shooting blanks now. :-)
With my riba i eat a teaspoon of coconut oil...one egg and one serving of protien powder..
I got to the anything I could grab stage too, would lay for 2 hrs. hungry and not get up to make anything so broke down and bought junk food. My sis about fell over when she saw me with junk food all over my room! My sons came by a lot and fed me :)
Ice cream was a biggie tho! Since tx I've eaten it about 3 times! Also lived (literally nutrician wise) on smoothies and put all the good things I could in it-yep, cranberries, and even started putting instant breakfast in them. Made with yogurt mostly. Thats something you can usually get down at your sickest.
Good luck, whatever you eat just make sure you DO eat! Days I ate little I'd feel worse.
LL
Couldnt eat anything with acidity it would burn my mouth....I was addicted to potato salad
and pasta! I love sweets and for whatever reason didnt have any during tx its tasted horrible.
Lots of bacon, eggs, and all kinds of beans. ( Black beans, white navy beans, lentil
and butter beans)
Strange how our taste buds change.
Charm
I been all about the fruit and veg! Also craving sweets, ice cream, Always a fruit lover and veg lover, but sweets not so much.
Charm and I are so opposite in taste buds! Love beans, peanut butter and jelly sandwich's, Soups, pasta,
I eat what ever I can keep down!
But seriously, don't take your toast lightly
.. with lots of real butter...
. it is all in how you toast it...
jacob that is funny!
i saw you have ginger ale, add ginger snaps to that for nausea!
Soft-boiled eggs with very dark toast. Multi-grain toast when I could stomach it, sourdough when I couldn't. A little butter on the toast helps the riba go down.
Avocado with everything.
Peach yogurt smoothies.
Homemade applesauce - just McIntosh apples and nutmeg, no cinnamon cause that's just wrong.
Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches, but not too often.
Eggs were the only thing I could always eat, the other stuff was sometimes appealing, sometimes appalling!
