Yeah but if you held Schering-Plough you just made a bunch-o-money last week as they were bought by Merck.
I think there's a lot to it; whether speaking of VRTX, pharmaceuticals or the economy as a whole. TVR has BOC on it's heels. VRTX has other procucts too. And then there is companies' debt, rising unemployment, fewer people having med insurance, reduction of insurance benefit, politicians castigating pharma...Lots of stuff weighing on a lot of businesses.
I think my 401K agent's motto is "buy high, sell low"...

The best thing about tx is it's dulled my senses to the point that I watch our retirement fund disappear and say "oh well".
