I don't get on much, and one of the reasons is Jim isn't around anymore.
I guess it was bound to happen eventually. I can't believe he spent so much time here in the first place.
He must have someone else in his life now besides Jenna. She would never demand anything from him, (like give up the forum), some other woman might not be so gracious about sharing him.
So, I say we find out who it is and make her life miserable till Jim comes back. I do remember him talking about his pharmacy "friend" a couple of times.....
I'll be stalking CVS and Walgreens till he comes back!
That fish thread was soooooo fun and hilarious! Thanks for posting it. It looks like I missed some great threads!
Miss Jim's sense of humor :)
I guess there are sacred cows after all.
Mike
so getting back to Jim. What type of mattress did he end up buying/using?
I apologize, Eric. My comment was perhaps due to a misunderstanding and I hope so. I did not mean to cast a shadow on your thread. This thread is for those that appreciated and miss Jim. I'm one of them. We didn't always agree on forum TOPICS and we allowed each other room to disagree without taking it to a personal level. I value that very much and, I'll hazard to say, something that seems to be sorely lacking on the forum lately, under personal evaluation with regards to myself also.
He was and is my friend. People inevitably leave the forum and I'm actually glad that Jim has moved on, if indeed this is permanent. I would hazard to guess that Jim just kept being increasingly involved in "offline" things and just never made his way back here. I do know he was starting to get involved in his outdoors pursuits that had been on hold for a very long time due to treatment and recovery from same .. and once you get going and feel the energy coming back into your life from that .. well...all I have to say is .. you go, Jim. No explanation required and gratitude from those of us who benefitted from your many contributions, one of them being me.
