Can one get HSV2 from oral sex, if so how long for first symptoms?

Hi , I’m going very high anxiety today. I need so real information about HSV 2 and receiving Oral without protection(no condom). I haven’t had any form sexual activity for 2 months. I decided to give a break from dating since my ex and I called it quits on July 23. I have not be intimate with anyone since then. Today September 26 I notice same pain and little soreness on the rim of the penis. Can this be a symptom of hsv2 . Please I’m getting anxious. I can’t even communicate with her now ask .

You can get genital hsv1 from oral sex. If someone has oral hsv1, and you get genital herpes from them giving you oral sex, you'd have genital hsv1. The number indicates the strain of the virus, not the location.

However, a little pain and soreness on the rim of your penis isn't indicative of herpes. Blisters and sores are. You could just have irritation or something.

It could even be anxiety causing a hyper-focus on the area.

If it lingers, see your doctor, but it's not likely to be herpes.

You may be right.  Otherwise I would be in more pain r . Meaning constantly right.  Did I clear the symptom window ?

The typical symptom window is 2-12 days, though some say 2-20 days. Either way, you have more than exceeded that.

If you haven't had any sores or blisters, you wouldn't have pain from herpes. That's not what is happening here.
