tingling and itchy, but no blisters of hsv2 on the genitals.

for the past few days ive been feeling this tingling feeling and itchness, but i dont have any signs of blisters(HSV2). is it just that ive been so extremly paranoid that im hyper sensitive to my private area. or is this a small outbreak?

any insight to this will help with my piece of mind greatly. thanks

I have hsv1 since I was a child  and we didn't give each other oral sex or any fingering

Since your urethra was covered, any inside issue would not be herpes related unless you already have herpes and had a recurrent outbreak but having urethra herpes would be intense pain and is not common at all.

We only had protected sex with a condom.

In my experience if you feel something unusual inside your urethra its not your imagination. Chlamydia often appears as an itching but unless she gave you "deep throat" oral that would not be a risk, neither would be gono (the clap).

The tingling and itching is sometimes faint or is that just my mind playing tricks on me?

Herpes are not under the surface bumps but are topical as break the skins surface.

Can blisters show up as two individual  bumps next to each other?

I ask about your HSV1 status, because having HSV1 for a long time (which you do) will delay the seroconversion of those who are nealy infected with HSV2.  From all I've heard, the "wait 16 weeks for conclusive results" should be long enough for people like you (and me) to seroconvert if, in fact, we contracted HSV2.

Fyi - your symptoms sound a lot like mine (although I only had the itchiness for about 2-4 days early on) and I just tested negative IgG at 6 months.  With a negative Western Blot at 5 months.   I am starting to realize that mine isn't HSV.  Maybe yours isn't either.

No visible outbreaks is a good sign - not definitive, however.

Nor is your 5 week test.  HSV IgG tests aren't considered reliable until 16 weeks after your last encounter.... the waiting sucks.  I know.  I've been there.  But you can do it.

Do you know your HSV1 status?  Cold sores?

Hi, tingling is most often associated with someone who already has herpes and can be used as a tool for pending outbreaks. If it last longer than a week without any sores developing, you can pretty much rule out herpes. If your sexually active get tested to confirm your status for others protection.
