Chances of HSV1

Hello,

This last weekend I went to the strip club, and regretfully Frenched kissed the stripper for about 30 sec.
She had no visible lesions at all on her mouth or lips, I was sure to check on that.

Prior to this encounter I've been trying to get over a terrible flu/cold for 3 weeks.  When I returned home I felt like my cold had come back pretty strong as well.  But I had been flying a lot and I working 11 hour days while on this trip.  So this weekend wasn't much of a break for me to try get over my remaining cold.  But I wasn't sure if it was possibly being exposed to hsv1 or me just stressing about it.

It's been 6 days now, and I don't feel anything on my mouth or lips.  I don't see any bumps or anything out of the ordinary.  Just been feeling sick, but I was already feeling sick prior to the encounter.

What are the chances from this encounter I could have gotten hsv1 if I already didn't have it?
Would you recommend testing?

Thank you in advance.

Ok, thank you.  The kissing went from light kisses to some heavy kisses, but it wasn't for very long.

I thought without seeing any lesions, I would be ok.  But then I read about the possible shedding period.

Then I still had a cold, but I've had it for a while, so I wasn't sure if that was part of it

Hi, the risk for contacting herpes from a one time french kissing where she did not have any lip sore at the time would be close to zero. Also it would need to be hard romantic rubbing kissing to force the virus into the nerve.
Nothing to be overly concerned about.
Since upward of 65% of the population would test positive for oral hsv1, theres a higher risk you already have it.
