Please don't be herpes

A week ago I had signs of a UTI. Frequent urination, burning etc. I had some Alprim from my last UTI so I started taking them. But the difference was that I had a sore throat and lymph nodes were up in my throat and groin.  I had shaved my pubic area that afternoon with a cheap men's disposable razor. The next day I had lumps that had small white centres, ie like a pimple, on my outer vulval and perineum area. Not my inner labia or around my vagina. Not sore and definitely not itchy. They didn't fill with fluid or burst or crust and they were spread out.  A few were next to each other but still individual lumps in the skin not on it. The centres dried out and have a normal dry healing scab.  The ones at the up part of my vulva are completely healed after only one week but the others that I sit on or rubbed by my underwear are not quite healed and are tender.  I gave a urine sample to the doctor last week and they have asked to see me for a routine follow up. I'm 44yo female. I have been with my partner for 11 months.  I'm so scared I have caught something from brief encounters a year ago.  Can you please offer me some advice.

Hi what your describing donot suggest herpes at all but you can have a bloodtest to confirm this. Since some of the irritations are still there might be a good idea to have them swabbed and tested also.

Thank you for your answer. Less than a week and only a few left.  I wonder if the bacteria from the uti got into the skin after shaving and caused folliculitis. Have you heard of this?
