Confused

I have also recently had a blood test for HSV, values came back as HSV >5 and HSV 1.18, I have been reading that , that the HSV 2 test may be a false positive, is this likely and is the Western Blot the answer?

Have never had any symptoms,  I saw the recommendations for several people for the western blot test, will this test give me a viable answer?

People with HSV1 have an elevated chance of a false positive HSV2. Your score is a very low positive. Unless you have had genital lesions or have been informed you have been with a partner with HSV2, I'd assume this was a false positive and move on.
